One of the random things we have bumped into on this trip has probably also one been of the coolest ever – the Bicycle Heaven in Pittsburgh. We were just riding along the river, when we saw a sign for a bike shop/museum. As I had the previous day lost the plug securing the bar tape we thought we’d pop in to see if we could find a replacement. Little did we know we were about to be blown away!
The place was so packed with stuff that we only had the chance to give it all the quickest of glances. But it gave us something to think and talk about for the rest of the day.
And for your pleasure we were also able to shoot a few pictures while visiting.

And the plug? The friendly guy running the place not only gave us one, but also popped it in place for free. ”It’s on the house!”
