Today has been a day of goodbyes.
It is always sad to part ways, but sometimes you need admit when a relationship has reached its end. So while I return to Europe, my helmet will stay here in the land of the free.
We’ve been through a lot together and have traveled extensively. We’ve been to Japan as well as Russia. And to all the Nordic countries last summer. Including Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
I hope the helmet will find its peace here on the new continent. The old world just seems to be too small for it.

As I prepare for the journey home, I have some last words I’d like to share with all of those of you who have congratulated us over this achievement.
Please know that you too could have done the same. Anyone of you.
The only thing needed was a little time and some money. Both which we had the good fortune of having enough of. This is the only thing that might set us apart from others. Besides those two factors it is just a matter of taking it one day at a time.
This is something you need to think about.
